Another set of cards using Stampin' Up! Best Thoughts and the popular Hallett bag

OH how I love this wonderful stamp set from Stampin' Up! its a set that you can get if you spend £150.00 (it's a hostess set) and cost just 10 hostess pounds and is called "Best Thoughts"

The cards are coloured in using Stampin' Up's Stampin write markers and I love these colours.

If you don't have or cannot afford to buy the big box of Marvellous markers then you can pick up the colour from the ink pads using the blender pens.  You can clean them and use them with other colours, although I would defenatly keep one red one as the SU reds/pinks have very strong pigments.  Also you can use any scraps of paper

Apologies- Ive been away for a while

Hi, Im sorry if you have been checking on my blog for the past 5 weeks, I have had a very hectic time, One of my best friends who now lives in Australia, came to stay with her family after her mum sadly passed away.  She came with her Husband and two young children, so consequently I seemed to have very little time in my day between working and spending time with them.  Then in the middle of it all my goddaughter from America came to visit. So 5 extra people.  But boy I did enjoy the company.  But I'm back now so will post tommorow with a craft project I will be doing with them.

NEW CATALOGUE RELEASE

Hello Stampers

THE NEW CATALOGUE BEGINS TODAY!

Today is your last chances to order any retiring merchandise that has not yet sold out before the OLD CATALOGUE ENDS TONIGHT.

take a look at the NEW products

2015-2016 NEW catalogue

June 2nd Only — One Day To Order From ALL Catalogues!
For today only, you can order from both the retiring 2014-2015 Annual Catalogue AND the brand new 2015-2016 Annual Catalogue, Plus the Occasions Catalogue!

Order Now — New Prices & Stampin’ Rewards Coming June 3
There are some changes in the new catalogue to be aware of, as outlined below.
Price Changes —  Orders placed on June 2 will still receive the “old” pricing.
Please note the there are a few items that will see more significant price changes:

Ink pads and refills: Our last price increase for ink pads and refills was in 2009. Over time, our costs have gone up, resulting in a small price increase.
Extra-large punches: Our punch supplier increased our cost on some of our punches, necessitating a price increase on our largest punch-body style.
Big Shot, cutting pads, and crease pads: Our supplier has raised their prices, and we’ve adjusted our prices to be in line with those changes.
Price Decrease on Embossing Folders: We are happy to announce that we’ve been able to negotiate a cost savings on Textured Impressions Embossing Folders, which has made it possible for us to lower the price of all embossing folders.

NEW Stampin’ Rewards—Stampin’ Up! has restructured the Hostess Benefits into a new, simplified Stampin’ Rewards program that will officially begin on June 3, 2015.  Orders placed on June 2 will go toward earning the “old” Hostess Benefits, but you’ll be able to select hostess exclusive items from ANY of the catalogues on that day only.

Earn Rewards For Every Pound!  This new, simplified version of rewards uses percentages to allow stampers to maximize every pound of sales toward their order!
How It Works — If your workshop order / personal order is £200, for example, you’ll earn £20 in Stampin’ Reward pounds to spend, but that total increases with every additional order.  So, if you added £40 to it, you’d earn £24 in Stampin’ Rewards pounds to spend!  Unlike the old program, you don’t have to get to the next level to earn additional benefits!  Fabulous!

NEW!  Use Stampin’ Rewards To Purchase A Starter Kit! — Also new to this catalogue is that you’ll be able to use Stampin’ Rewards pounds toward the purchase of a Starter Kit!  So you can grab a spot on my Stampin group for a discounted price or even FREE!  That’s a fantastic deal

NEW Recruit Special Begins Tomorrow, Too!
As if the catalogue transition wasn’t enough, tomorrow is the first day of a new Recruiting Special!  Between June 2-30, purchase a £99 Starter Kit and select TWO stamps sets of your choice for FREE!
Not only can you pick your normal £130 for just £99, you can pick another two stamp sets of your choice in addition to that too!  And if you join in June, you will be able to take advantage of the 30% discount off of your first order (£150+ ) in your first 45 days too for the last time!

Contact me if you would like any further information or if I can clarify anything that you may be unsure of.

Bidding farewell to the SU Blendabilities

Here are another two colour combinations for the NEW stamp set "You've got this" and using some of the NEW inks and cards from the 2015-2016 Stampin' Up! catalogue..  Mint Macaron and Tip Top Taupe. And the last to complete the set is made with Watermelon wonder and Sky blue.

As you may be aware Stampin' Up! called time on the Blendabilities (alcohol Pens) , due to the inferior product which is good in one respect, because it shows their commitment to excellent products, but sad as we now need to wait to see if they can team up with another manufacturer. I love alcohol pens, so was soooo excited when they announced they were launching them, but as much as i love them the quality was way off the mark.

So as I prepare to return all of mine, I felt I needed to make a farewell card to bid goodbye.

Here it is

The card is made up of some new products which are being released on 2nd Jun and some old faithfuls that are still current.

Colouring done with the retiring Blentabilities.

NEW - Stampset / coloured base card and ink - Sorry you will have to wait until the big reveal to find out what they are.

Check back here after 2nd Jun for the product information.

CREATIVE BLOG HOP - Come and look

So this week i was nominated by the lovely and telented Kim Fee HERE whom I have met and have become good friends with over the last 18months, shes insperational. Since joining Stampin' Up! I have met many insperational people and i can't tell you how much they have helped me along the way, a special thanks to Leslie Lendon HERE

I am nominating two more people to blog hop so be sure to check out there blogs next monday (13th April)

Fiona Harris - Krftyfi.blogspot.co.uk
Cayleigh May - Cayleigcards.com

Before I show you my creation I would like to answer the questions that have been put before me........

1. What are you working on right now?

I am working on projects for my APRIL/MAY classes, I love teaching new techniques and love how peoples faces light up when they finish a card and in there head i can here them saying " I made that" I am nominating my lovely downline Fiona Harris HERE who has not only been an amazing friend and support to me over the last 7yrs but is becoming a very talented Crafter and Cayleigh MayHERE who is an awsome talent not only crafing but her organisational and business skills are invaluable. Thank you ladies ...

2. How does your work differ from others in your genre?
I dont usually stamp direct on to a card base, so thought i would push myself to show how to make quick cards, I am pretty pleased, I also used a stamp set that i hadnt really liked other than having it for the words, now im like why did i not use that before.

3. Why do you create what you do?
I'm addicted to it Haha! I LOVE IT, I have always been creative, i used to sew ( my mum was a seemstress), i made my two best friends wedding dresses and studied for an interior design degree. When my husband passed away 6 yrs ago it was my therapy, my saviour along with good friends i got thru it and I just cant put it down now.

4. How does your creative process work?
I get a stamp set, and just stamp it onto photo copy paper first then start adding then think Na not right go again and then eventually theres a pile on the floor and the winning fomular on my desk and there it is. I find insperation in magazines and pinterest, you see colours tgthr and go wow that works now let's try it with what i have got...

Now onto my cards which are very spring like you can what ever sentiments you like to these.. i hope you like them.

Crazy about you stamp set - BY Stampin' Up!

Stawberry slush

Daffodil Delght/ Hello Honey

Pink Pirouette /Stawberry slush
Perfect Plum

I made a mask using a the scolloped punch to enable me to stamp the leaves and small flower buds behind the main image. You do this by first stampin the large flower onto the card then placing the scolloped punch out over the top you can then stamp the leaves and medium flowers then add the tiny flower stamp to the leaves.

On the Perfect Plum and Stawberry slush card I added stitch lines around the large flower and on the other two I added the stitch lines around the outside of the cards. I used four colours but you could make them all the same if you wish.

Then Add a greeting of your choice.
