For the Men....

Sorry I did not post on Tues, got back from convention and my feet didn't touch the ground for 5 days. So apologies that this is late. I'm still sorting through my convention swaps and will post some here this week. Brussels was amazing and I had such fun with new and old friends.

Men's cards are so hard to make, I made this for my next door neighbour who loves travelling.

Using sponge dauber I picked up the ink from the pads and blended to give the sea/land contrast. distressed the edges of the card again with the dauber using the Early Espresso only. I Stamped the globe image onto Very vanilla card stock and once again distressed the edges before layering onto black card.

This weeks cards are made using the Hostess Set - BLOOM WITH HOPE

Good Morning.

On Thursday I'm off to Brussels for the Stampin' Up! Convention. It's my first one so I am super excited. Next week I will post some pictures of the swaps I get along with the swap that I have made tto take with me… we make about 50-100 swaps take them to convention and come home with the same amount of projects others have made,  its a great way of learning new techniques and getting some great ideas.

Ok to this weeks project. I made 4 small 4"' sq. cards using 'Bloom with hope' which is one of the hostess sets., each flower head I stamped 3 times and coloured with Blendabilities  ( we like to call them blendibobs)  and then decoupaged each one to give a great 3D effect...

You can get this beautiful set ( 11 stamps ) for just £15.00 by using hostess pounds when hosting a party with a  minimum sales of £150.

INFORMATION

It hit me today that I am posting twice on a Wednesday "weekly deals" and my weekly project, so one or other may get missed, so I thought to make it easier I would posts my weekly projects on a Tuesday so it doesn't conflict with the weekly deals. I will endeavour to post the weekly deals as early as possible, but as I'm a shift worker it maybe that sometimes it's the afternoon.. They last for a week (Wed Thur Tues.) but if you just cant wait click on the "Weekly deals" icon on the left hand side bar or if you're browsing the shop take a look.

MADE THIS FOR A FRIENDS GRANDMOTHER'S 100TH BIRTHDAY

What a great honor to be asked to make this card for my friends Grandmother's (Welsh) 100th Birthday. I saw a great card on Pinterest and this is my version.

It’s made with the Stampin’ Up! Flower Patch stamp and die set.. You can purchase the stamps and die set as a bundle or as individual products.

I cut a piece of the Old olive A4 card and cut the width to 7”

Scored 3cm and 6 cm from the bottom to make the card stand up. I printed out the sentiment from the PC due to the Welsh spelling for Grandmother.

Then stamped and cut lots of different flowers and leaves and stuck onto the card randomly.
I hope she likes it.

THIS IS WHAT WE MADE AT TODAYS WORKSHOP............ A change from the scheduled class

well we were going to do a Christmas class today, but they called up on Tues and asked can we do it next month and make something pretty on thurs.. so a quick rally and pulled out something i was going to do in Jan, and this is it.

Used a sandwhich bag which I picked up at work. and the lovely Beautiful Bunch stamp set and matching punches. They loved the class and have all gone home with the goodies and a big smile.

oops sorry.. just noticed my tag in the photo is the wrong way round.. hah should have been stuck to the bag.
